A day trip from Florence to Sienna to see Duomo was totally worth it. It was one of the most beautiful churches we saw in Europe.
The Duomo, Sienna's magnificent black and white Italian Romanesque cathedral including the Libreria Piccolomini, Baptistery and an attached Museo dell' Opera del Duomo.

| At "La Chiacchiera" next to the House of St Catherine, an excellent source of typical Tuscan cuisine. We were recommended to try the pici (thick, homemade noodles) that are considered a typical Siena food. |
