Lausanne, Switzerland

We did not plan to stay in Lausanne but we are so glad we did. It turned out to be our favorite city in Switzerland. It was so easy to visit and explore. There is a free public transportation for tourists, as well as free maps, free internet and other freebies.

Few facts about Lausanne:
It is the fifth largest city in Switzerland and the second largest on lake Geneva.
International Olympic Committee has been based here since 1914.
The «Olympic capital» is home to  the Olympic Museum, the world’s largest information centre about the Olympic games.
