One of the things we wanted to do during our road trip in Europe is to camp in Alps. We were supposed to stay there for two nights but it was so cold at night that we decided to leave after one night.
On the way to the camping site, we passed through the little village of Euseigne which is known for fairy chimney rock formations named Pyramides d'Euseigne. The earth cones are 10 to 15 meters high and most of them are protected by a rock lodged on the top. The cones were created in the end phase of the last Ice Age, about 80,000 to 10,000 years ago and natural geological degradations formed by normal rainfall.

The views were amazing and we snapped a few pictures.
