Salvador Dali Museum in Figueres, Spain

Salvador Dali was born in a small town Figueres in Catalonia, Spain. It is located right next to border with France and approximately 140 km from Barcelona. Figueres houses the Teatre-Museu Gala Salvador Dalí, a large museum designed by Dalí himself which attracts many visitors.

The museum displays the single largest and most diverse collection of works by Salvador Dalí, the core of which was from the artist's personal collection.

The Dali Museum is the second most visited museum in Spain, after the Prado.
