Trading Post Trail, Red Rocks Park, Morrison, Colorado

This afternoon we went to the famous Red Rocks Park located in Morrison, Colorado. It is one of the  favorite spots for locals to exercise during the day. After a quick run, we noticed the trail next to the amphitheater and decided to go for it. I am glad that I grabbed the camera because it was one of my favorite hikes to photograph.

Trading Post Trail is one of the two trails located in Red Rocks Park. The trail is only 1.4 miles long and passes through ten spectacular rock formations and valleys and located 5,280 feet above sea level. The similar rock formations we saw at South Valley Park

The sign before the trail warns the visitors that there are rattlesnakes and mountain lions in the park. Fortunately, the only animals we saw were rabbits and a deer.

This is definetely one of my favorite hikes in Denver.
