Terry and I spent three weeks in Europe car camping in 2012.
We started our trip in Munich, Germany. We stopped by Dachau to visit concentration camp. Then we drove to Switzerland and visited Zurich, Bern, Vaulraz, Sion, Lausane and Geneva. We camped one night in Swiss Alps. We spent a day in Lyon, France and a day in a wine region, Roquefort de Corbieres. On the way to Barcelona where we spent 4 days, we stopped by Figueres to visit Salvador Dali Museum. On the Mediterranean coast, we visited Marseilles, France and Nice, France. We spent a few days in Tuscany and visited Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. Then we visited Venice, Italy and Salzburg, Austria.
Below are our favorite moments from this trip. Somehow they evolve around food a lot.
1. Flamenco show in Barcelona
2. La Prosciutteria deli and wine shop in Florence
2. Pasta in Italy & Tuscan food in general
3. Hafbrauhaus brewery and German beer in Munich
4. French & Italian wine
5. Italian art and Uffizi museum in Florence
6. Viewing Swiss Alps
7. Baguettes and Cheese in Lyon, France
8. Dali museum in Figueres, Spain
